Between the Severn Bridges
I have always wanted to photograph the two bridges at the Severn estuary. Having crossed them on many occasions their structural design is imposing. One weekend that opportunity arose when I found myself with time to spare on the Bristol side, however the weather (therefore the lighting) was not that favourable.
This photograph is taken standing on the original bridge near Chepstow (You can walk across the whole expanse of this bridge on either side). On this occasion I selected side looking towards the other bridge. I have chosen this photograph for its symmetry and colour.
I will return to revisit these bridges to capture them in a different light.
