Granville Island is Vancouver’s heart and soul, a small cluster of renovated semi-industrial buildings and waterfront on the southern edge of the downtown peninsula. It contains one of the world’s great food markets and a medley of galleries, wharves, walkways, museums, specialty shops, restaurants, artists’ studios and even a small brewery.
